S04 to play friendly against Viktoria Köln

FC Schalke 04 will take part in a friendly during the upcoming international break. The Royal Blues will face Viktoria Köln on Friday, 6th September. The match against the third-division side will kick off at 18:00 CEST in the Jahnstadion in Bottrop.

“We have several players who have recovered from injuries they picked up before or during pre-season, but have seen very little to no game time at all so far as a result,” said head coach David Wagner. “As a result, this friendly is very important match for us.”
