ESL Championship: League of Legends Academy team celebrates promotion

The ESL Championship is the competition for the best players from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the disciplines Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG and League of Legends four titles are awarded each year. On Wednesday (3.4.) and Thursday (4.4.) the League of Legends Academy team of the miners succeeded in promoting to the first division of the ESL championship.

On Wednesday (3.4.) theRoyal Blues first met PANTHERS Gaming. With a win over the German Esport Organization (2:0), S04 Esports successfully maintained the chance for promotion. The following day the miners hit BloodRain-Gaming. After three games Royal blue also decided the second encounter: Thus, FC Schalke 04 Esports promotes to the first division of the ESL championship.
