League of Legends: David Lim moves to Excel Esports

The Royal Blues announce the transfer of David "DLim" Lim. The 24-year-old joins Excel Esports and takes over as Head Coach. With regard to the modalities, both organizations have agreed to remain silent.

“I am very grateful that the management of Schalke made my transfer to Excel possible”, says Lim. “The decision was very difficult for me, but in the end, I decided that I would like to take this opportunity. I will always remember my time at Schalke in the best memory. I wish Schalke all the best for the upcoming split”, stated the 24-year-old.

“David has been a great asset to our team over the past few months”, says Schalke’s Chief Gaming Officer, Tim Reichert. “We wish him all the best for this new challenge.” In the winter of 2018, David Lim joined the miners. With FC Schalke 04 Esports he finished seventh in the League of Legends European Championship (LEC). Following the departure of Lim, Royal Blue will occupy the vacant position in the League of Legends team with a Head Analyst.
