League of Legends: Erberk "Gilius" Demir completes Royal Blues' LEC roster

Final addition to the League of Legends European Championship roster of the Royal Blues: FC Schalke 04 Esports signs the 22-year-old Erberk "Gilius" Demir (*5 January 1997) as Jungler.

„We followed the development of Erberk with great interest and found that he made significant progress, especially last year. We want to build on this and further support Erberk in his development. We are convinced that he has the potential to hold his own in the LEC“, said Tim Reichert, Chief Gaming Officer of the Royal Blues, adding: „With Lukas Thoma, another player is waiting for his chance to advance to the LEC roster. The competition will have a positive effect on the development of both players.“

Lately „Gilius“ played for the German esports organization Ad Hoc Gaming. In 2016 he already wore the jersey of the Royal Blues and was honored several times by Riot Games with the „Player of the Match“ award. In October of the same year Demir left the miners and moved to eUnited. In 2017, he won the spring season of the NA Challenger Series with the US esports organization. In the following play-offs, eUnited successfully qualified for the NA LCS Summer Promotion.
