LEC: Miners qualify early for playoffs

In the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Royal Blue moves early into the summer play-offs. The miners dominated the encounter with Misfits Gaming and emerged victorious from the game.

On the 15th match day of the League of Legends European Chamionship, the team of Royal Blue managed to qualifiy early for the upcoming summer playoffs. With a commanding victory over Misfits Gaming on Friday (9/8), the miners secured their spot in the competition three games before the end of the regular season.

The LEC 2019 Summer playoffs will be held on August 23rd and 24th in the Berlin studios of Riot Games. The four best teams then travel to Athens. On the 7th and 8th of September, the master of the summer season will be played in the Greek captial. Last year, the miners already qualified successfully for the finale of the Summer Split. Although the Royal Blues lost against Fnatic, they received recognition and sympathy from around the world for their remarkable performance.
