PES: S04 signs Zeinali and confirms participation in the eFootball.Open

Pejam Zeinali (* September 6, 1988) completes the Royal Blues' PES roster. The international competes in the eFootball.Open.

Zeinali is the fourth professional PES player for the royal blue. The 31-year-old has already made a name for himself in the national PES scene as „Payamjoon“. In December 2019, the German Football Association nominated the two-time German runner-up for the DFB selection for the eEURO 2020. „Pejam is one of the best players in Germany. We are very happy that another international sees his future at Schalke,“ said Tim Reichert. The Royal Blue’s Chief Gaming Officer adds: „Pejam has already demonstrated his skills in numerous national competitions and will represent us in the eFootball.Open.“

eFootball.Open

The eFootball.Open are replacing the PES League as a competition. The participants choose a club and compete against other players with the same club. The schedule and the clubs available are equivalent to the eFootball.Pro league.

In 2018 the Royal Blues announced the cooperation with the Japanese game developer KONAMI. This was followed by the commitments of Matthias „GoooL“ Winkler and Mike „EL_Matador“ Linden. At the same time, Schalke announced to be the second European top club – after FC Barcelona – to join the eFootball.Pro league. A little later, Mehrab „MeroMen“ Esmailian also joined the Royal Blues.
