With a victory in the Prime League finals on Sunday (29.3.), the Royal Blues crowned an outstanding spring season with the first championship title in the history of the national League of Legends competition. The S04 dominated the game against mouseports and ultimately won with 3:1.

„I am incredibly proud of our team, which has been rewarded with the German championship for a great spring season. Every single player has continuously improved and developed over the course of the season,“ said Tim Reichert after the match. The Royal Blues‘ chief gaming officer explained: „The goal of our League of Legends Academy is to promote promising talents. Our recent succes in the Prime League confirms us in our decision. We want to build on that and become an institution for the most talented players in Germany in the medium term.“

The Royal Blues went to the Prime League final as favorites. Back in round two of the play-offs, head coach Chris „MoSiTing“ Würger’s team already managed to beat the second-placed mousesports (2:0).
