#StayHomeWithPES: Boujellab, Griezmann and Co. compete in KONAMI's eFootball tournament

According to the motto #StayHomeWithPES, game developer KONAMI is organizing a competition in eFootball PES 2020. The trusting partner of S04 gathered numerous European top clubs for its online tournament. In addition to FC Schalke 04, amongst others FC Barcelona, Manchester United and FC Bayern Munich have also confirmed their participation. The royal blues will play their first match against Celtic Glasgow. Schalke’s fans can watch the tournament on Sunday (April 26th) from 6 p.m. (CEST) on Twitch.

Nassim Boujellab impressively demonstrated that he also has considerable skills with a controller. For this reason, the royal blues have nominated Boujellab for the eFootball competition from KONAMI. Next Sunday, the midfielder will face 22-year-old Odsonne Édouard from Celtic Glasgows.

KONAMI has been a close and reliable partner of the royal blues since the season of 2018/2019. The game developer was able to win well-known participants from numerous European top clubs for his eFootball tournament: In addition to Boujellab for FC Schalke 04 and Édouard for the „Bhoys“, Antoine Griezmann (FC Barcelona), Greg Stewart (Glasgow Rangers), Aleksey Sutormin (Zenit St. Petersburg), Javi Martinéz (FC Bayern Munich), Rafael Leão (AC Milan), Bernd Leno (Arsenal FC), Sebastiano Esposito (Inter Milan), Scott McTominay (Manchester United), Miralem Pjanić (Juventus Turin) are going to take part in the competition.

The tournament initiated by KONAMI will be broadcasted on Twitch on Sunday. Fans of the royal blues can follow the games from 6 p.m. (CEST).

#StayHomeWithPES

The #StayHomeWithPES competition will be held in eFootball PES 2020. Each club previously nominated a single player from its licensed team for the tournament. The game is played according to the knockout system. While the winner of each encounter qualifies for the next round, the loser is eliminated from the tournament. A match lasts about 10 minutes.
