Preparations begin for the final game of 2025

Sunday’s (21/12) away game at Eintracht Braunschweig will be FC Schalke 04’s final match of the calendar year. Preparations for the fixture against the team who have claimed seven points from their past three games got underway on Wednesday (17/12) in front of the Royal Blues' fans.

Moussa Sylla and Christopher Antwi-Adjei both worked on their own at the start of a new week of training. Janik Bachmann also trained individually and won’t feature in Braunschweig due to a foot problem.

Tim Dietrich and Edion Gashi from the U23s will again train with the first team this week.

The club have allowed 18-year-old centre-back Dylan Leonard to return early to Australia to spend Christmas with his family. The youngster is not eligible to feature in competitive football in 2025.
