The club’s supervisory board has decided that a new member with responsibility for sporting directives will be added to the existing board currently consisting of Matthias Tillmann and Christina Rühl-Hamers.

Youri Mulder to stay on as director of professional football until the end of the season

Youri Mulder will stay on as director of professional football at FC Schalke 04 until the end of the current season. The 55-year-old will remain the point of liaison for the coaching staff, team and first team performance centre staff. Mulder has also been working with Ben Manga over the past weeks as the director of squad planning, scouting and Knappenschmiede and as a board member in preparation for the upcoming winter transfer window. His position on the supervisory board of FC Gelsenkirchen-Schalke 04 e.V will now be vacant until the season’s conclusion.

Paul Seguin contributed two assists during FC Schalke 04's 4-2 win away at league leaders SC Paderborn on Friday (6/12). The 29-year-old also impressed in midfield, enjoying the most touches of any player (104) and completing a high number of passes. He also covered an impressive 12.2 kilometres.
