Peter Remmert: The craziest way I’ve ever set up a goal

Friday night’s (1/8) opening game of the new 2. Bundesliga season against Hertha BSC could hardly have gone any better for youngster Peter Remmert. The striker was handed his first start for the club and assisted the opening goal in a 2-1 win. The only thing that was missing for the 20-year-old was a goal for himself at the sold-out VELTINS-Arena – and he actually missed a good chance for his maiden first-team goal just before the break.

Miron Muslic: I’m extremely proud of the team

In his first competitive game in charge of FC Schalke 04, Miron Muslic recorded his first victory on Friday night (1/8) against Hertha BSC. The Royal Blues deservedly claimed all three points against Hertha BSC on Friday night (1/8) in the opening game of the new 2. Bundesliga season. Moussa Sylla (16’) and Nikola Katic (23’) got the Schalke goals in a 2-1 victory at the VELTINS-Arena, with Sebastian Grønning pulling one back with a minute to play for the visitors.
