Miron Muslic: Every game in the 2. Bundesliga is a 50-50 contest

At a sold-out VELTINS-Arena this Saturday (21/2), FC Schalke 04 will be hoping to finally experience that unparalleled feeling of winning in front of a home crowd again as they face 1. FC Magdeburg at 20:30 CET, having only managed a draw in each of their two games in Gelsenkirchen this calendar year. While FCM currently sit down in sixteenth place in the league table, head coach Miron Muslic has warned of the threat posed by this weekend’s opponent. “Magdeburg have recorded the most shots of any side in the division at this point and averaged the highest possession as well, with obvious strength in the attacking department,” said the head coach when asked what kind of challenge his team are gearing up for on Saturday night.

Moussa Ndiaye: I love how the fans get right behind the team

Moussa Ndiaye has been a Royal Blue for almost two weeks now. The left-back, who joined S04 on loan from Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht, was thrust straight into the starting XI for last weekend’s 2-2 draw against Dynamo Dresden, and put in an impressive display on his debut. The 23-year-old looked calm and composed on the ball and seemed to immediately know how to effectively slot into Schalke’s system, even after so few training sessions with the team.
