Rodrigo Zalazar with another goal but no cause for celebration

An assist in Bremen, a goal against Sandhausen and now a goal on Saturday (04/12) against his former club, FC St. Pauli – Rodrigo Zalazar has been involved in a goal in each of his last three games. Former S04 man, Guido Burgstaller, bagged two goals in the first half to secure their eighth win from eight home games this season. Rodrigo Zalazar pulled one back with a header with a quarter of an hour to play.

Dimitrios Grammozis and St. Pauli head coach Timo Schultz have tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently isolating at home. A dream goal in front of the Nordkurve: Marius Bülter on one aim, two goals and three points

With his fifth and sixth goals of the season, Marius Bülter was one of the main figures on Saturday (27.11) in the 5-2 win over SV Sandhausen. Both goals are well worth watching! First, the attacker smashed one in off the underside of the bar just after the hour mark, before following it up with a candidate for goal of the month. In the 76th minute, Reinhold Ranftl crossed and the 28-year-old flicked it into the far corner.

The other goals came from Thomas Ouwejan and Rodrigo Zalazar, plus an own goal by a visiting defender.

FC Schalke 04 were held to a 1-1 draw away to SV Werder Bremen on Saturday night (20/11). Simon Terodde put the Royal Blues ahead in the 82nd minute, however Niclas Füllkrug scored from the spot in the ninth minute of injury time after referee Tobias Stieler awarded a penalty with assistance from VAR.
