The DFB announced the exact dates and times for the 16 second-round ties of the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday (3/9). FC Schalke 04 will play away against SV Darmstadt 98 on Wednesday, 29th October at 20:45 CET at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor.

S04 travel to SV Darmstadt 98 in second round of the DFB-Pokal

FC Schalke 04 will travel to fellow 2. Bundesliga side SV Darmstadt 98 in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. The draw was conducted at the German Football Museum on Sunday (31/8). The match will be played on 28th or 29th October. Former referee Dr. Felix Brych carried out the draw.

Bryan Lasme’s effort in the 107th minute of Sunday’s (17/8) game against 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig snuck into the bottom left corner and ultimately secured the victory required to take FC Schalke 04 into the second round of the DFB-Pokal. “I’m so happy to have scored the winning goal and that I was able to help the team in this way,” said the Frenchman, who was brought on in the 80th minute of the game at the Bruno-Plache-Stadion and went on to break the deadlock.
