Adrian Gantenbein has become FC Schalke 04’s second summer signing, as he makes the move from Swiss Super League side FC Wintertur. The 23-year-old has signed a contract with the Royal Blues until 30th June 2028 ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Personnel and structural changes to the first team

Raffael Tonello, most recently chief scout at Watford, will take over as head of the academy and the club’s head youth scout. As part of this restructuring, the role of director of the Knappenschmiede and development is no longer required. As a result, Mathias Schober’s contract has ended with immediate effect.
