On Monday, 29th July, two days after their friendly match against Leeds United, FC Schalke 04 began the final week of training ahead of their opening league game against Eintracht Braunschweig. Emil Højlund was a man in demand after his first training session with Schalke on Tuesday (16/7). The new signing from Copenhagen took time to sign autographs and take photos with the fans following his first day at the club. Bryan Lasme was also on the training ground and trained with the ball for the first time in a few days.
