S04 arrive in Stubaital – first training session on Monday afternoon

FC Schalke 04’s training camp in Stubaital is underway after the team bus arrived at the Milderer Hof hotel on Monday (7/7) at 14:40 CEST. The players and coaches were given a warm welcome by the hotel staff, as well as several fans and other staff members who arrived yesterday ahead of the eight-day camp in Neustift.

S04 head to Neustift im Stubaital on Monday for training camp

FC Schalke 04’s first team will continue their preparations for the 2025/26 season from Monday (7/7), courtesy of the club’s tourism partner Stubai Tirol. 33 players (28 outfield players, 5 goalkeepers) will make the trip to Austria.

Tobias Mohr: Taken another step forward

Tobias Mohr had missed several weeks of action with the Royal Blues due to a thigh injury before making his comeback during the 3-0 friendly win over FC Zürich on Thursday (09/01), receiving half an hour of game time. FC Schalke 04’s training camp in Belek is over and Derry John Murkin was satisfied with the team’s work over the past few days in Turkey. The left-back spoke to schalke04.de about the good mood within the team, working on patterns and the aims for the second half of the season, which starts on 18th January away at Eintracht Braunschweig.

Kees van Wonderen: Belek offers ideal conditions

Preparations for the second half of the season are in full swing. After two sessions in Gelsenkirchen, the Royal Blues trained at their Turkish training camp in Belek for the first time on Saturday morning (04/01). Before the hard work began, the team and staff gathered to congratulate the two birthday boys: head coach Kees van Wonderen, who turned 56, and forward Emil Højlund, who is celebrating his 20th birthday.

27 players head to Belek for training camp

FC Schalke 04 are currently on their way to Turkey for their winter training camp. Kees van Wonderen’s team will be in Belek for eight days as they prepare for the second half of the 2. Bundesliga season, which begins with an away game against Eintracht Braunschweig (18/1). 27 players were on the SunExpress plane on Friday afternoon (3/1), including Mika Khadr and Zaid Amoussou-Tchibara from the U19s.

Schalke begin preparations for second half of the season

Head coach Kees van Wonderen’s side gathered for their first training session of the new year on Thursday afternoon (2/1). The Royal Blues will then travel to Turkey on Friday for their winter training camp.

Training-camp friendlies: S04 to face FC Aarau and FC Zürich

FC Schalke 04 have arranged two friendlies as part of their week-long training camp in Belek (3rd-10th January). They will first face partner club FC Aarau before a test against FC Zürich towards the end of the time in Türkiye.

Schalke 04 to head to Belek for winter training camp

The Royal Blues will head to Belek for a winter training camp in order to prepare for the second half of the season. The team are set to travel on 3rd January and will return to Germany on 10th January 2025. The roundtrip flights from Düsseldorf to Antalya will be provided by the club's official airline partner, SunExpress.

Karel Geraerts positive after Mittersill training camp

With S04’s training camp in Mittersill now complete, head coach Karel Geraerts is looking back on his side’s time in the Hohe Tauern national park with satisfaction. “All of the players have been working well,” says Geraerts. “Nobody picked up any serious injuries.” The only fitness issue in the S04 squad is a muscle problem for Bryan Lasme.

S04 to leave for training camp in Mittersill on Monday

FC Schalke 04 will head to the Ferienregion Nationalpark Hohe Tauern for their summer training camp for the eighth time on Monday (8th July). In Mittersill, head coach Karel Geraerts’ side will spend a week working hard to prepare for the challenges ahead in both the 2. Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal.
