BEUMER Group to become FC Schalke 04’s new main partner

BEUMER Group will become FC Schalke 04’s new main partner from the 2026/27 season. The deal brings together two partners whose roots and ambitions make them a perfect fit. The global family-owned company from Beckum has signed a deal running until at least 2029, regardless of which professional league Schalke are in. This means the Royal Blues have already secured partners for all of the club’s key shirt assets well before the start of the new season.

BEUMER Group to become FC Schalke 04’s new main partner

“BEUMER Group and Schalke 04 have found the right partner in each other. We share fundamental values such as reliability, hard work and a spirit of innovation. Both partners are rooted in a strong regional identity that still defines them today. With big ambitions and real passion, BEUMER Group and Schalke 04 are both succeeding in highly competitive fields,” said Matthias Tillmann, CEO of FC Schalke 04. “BEUMER Group has established sites in more than 70 countries and is a true leader in its fields. We’re proud to have such a strong partner on the front of our shirts in future.”

“The connection between our family, our company and Schalke 04 goes back a long way. We started out 90 years ago as a manufacturer of conveyor technology, including for the mining industry, so we understand the values and sense of solidarity that define the Ruhr region. Hans Klodt, who played in goal for Schalke for around ten years, also worked for us for 25 years afterwards. Values such as reliability, staying grounded, ambition and teamwork are not just empty words to us – they are part of our company culture,” said Dr. Christoph Beumer, chairman of the advisory board of BEUMER Group.

The group’s CEO, Rudolf Hausladen, added: “This partnership underlines our commitment to the region, while also raising the company’s profile as we continue to meet the demands of being a global technology leader in intralogistics. We need employees who will help drive our company forward with passion, commitment and loyalty – qualities few clubs embody like Schalke. That is another reason why we believe we will benefit from this partnership.”

In addition to featuring on the front of the shirt in Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal matches, BEUMER Group will also receive a wide range of advertising rights at the VELTINS-Arena and across Schalke’s digital channels. Tillmann added: “Our aim is to make history with our partners and tell that story together. Given how much BEUMER Group and Schalke 04 have in common, I’m convinced we will do exactly that in this partnership.”

BEUMER Group to become FC Schalke 04’s new main partner

For FC Schalke 04, securing a new main partner this early is an important milestone. Tillmann noted: “Signing such a long-term partnership with BEUMER Group gives us planning certainty regardless of which league we are in. We have now secured long-term agreements for the kit supplier, sleeve sponsor and front-of-shirt sponsor for at least the next two seasons.”

BEUMER Group’s origins date back to 1935, when Bernhard Beumer supplied the regional cement industry and mining sector with conveyor technology. Today, BEUMER Group is a leading international family-owned company in the field of intralogistics, headquartered in Beckum. With more than 6,000 employees in over 70 countries, the company now offers a broad portfolio. That ranges from conveying and loading systems for bulk materials, to palletising and packaging systems for bagged goods, through to sorting and distribution systems for parcels, baggage and other unit loads. BEUMER serves industries including mining, cement and building materials, petrochemicals, the parcel, e-commerce and logistics sectors, as well as airports around the world. Cement and mining therefore remain a core part of the company’s business, while over the years the group has also firmly established itself in the future-focused areas of intralogistics. Through its work in underground and surface mining, the company shares part of its heritage with the Royal Blues, who were founded in the shadow of the Consolidation colliery.

Values such as reliability, staying grounded, ambition and teamwork are not just empty words to us – they are part of our company culture.

At the heart of this development is a values-driven strategy. Rather than focusing on short-term profit maximisation, BEUMER Group pursues a sustainable growth strategy. That approach is built on quality leadership, innovation and a broad international presence. The company invests strategically in new technologies, digital business models and the ongoing development of its portfolio.

The company motto, “Made Different”, reflects that independent approach. BEUMER Group prioritises stability, reliability and long-term partnerships, rather than following short-term trends. With incoming orders of around €1.83 billion, the intralogistics specialist recorded the strongest result in its history in 2025, while revenue stood at €1.34 billion – both record figures in its 90th anniversary year. That development is the result of a long-term, independent corporate strategy, with the family-owned company prioritising long-term thinking over short-term market trends.
