HEGMANNS Group becomes new sleeve sponsor of FC Schalke 04
A new chapter in a special, long-standing partnership will see Gelsenkirchen-based HEGMANNS Group become the official sleeve sponsor and a main partner of FC Schalke 04 for the 2025/26 season. This marks another step in the company’s deepening collaboration with the Royal Blues, just a few kilometres from their headquarters to the VELTINS-Arena. The partnership is designed to be long-term and sustainable.

Stefan Hegmanns, CEO of HEGMANNS AG, began his commitment to Schalke back in 2011. In 2017, the company became a stadium box partner, gradually intensifying its support in the following years – most recently acting as sleeve sponsor for Schalke’s DFB-Pokal campaign in 2024/25. HEGMANNS AG is also involved in Schalke’s “Zukunftsschmiede” (Forging the future) initiative and participates in the club’s company XI.
Now the partnership has expanded further, with the HEGMANNS Group taking up a permanent presence on the team’s shirt sleeve. In addition to sleeve sponsorship in both the 2. Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal, the company receives extensive advertising rights, including TV-relevant pitchside branding and cross-media exposure on Schalke’s high-reach digital platforms.
This partnership has stood for trust, loyalty and a deep bond with Schalke 04 for many years.
As part of this new agreement, heatrex® GmbH will step away from sleeve sponsorship but will continue their involvement with the club as a premium partner for the 2025/26 season.
Matthias Tillmann, FC Schalke 04’s CEO, is pleased with the long-term agreement and also underlined how trusting a partnership the club have with the local company: “I’m absolutely delighted that we now have the HEGMANNS Group – already a long-standing and reliable partner – officially by our side as sleeve and main partner. This partnership has stood for trust, loyalty and a deep bond with Schalke 04 for many years. Stefan Hegmanns has consistently chosen to support Schalke, even in challenging times, and has steadily developed the partnership – from stadium box partner, to sponsor, to member of the Zukunftsschmiede and most recently as DFB-Pokal sleeve partner. That speaks volumes about mutual respect and shared ambition.”
In a time where real partnerships matter more than ever, we want to take responsibility and shape a strong future together with the club and the region.
“The HEGMANNS Group has been part of the Schalke family since 2011. In 2017, we took the next step with the stadium box and this past season with the cup sleeve partnership – and today we’re making another statement: for Schalke, for the region and for the local area. The HEGMANNS Group stands for reliability and long-term thinking. In a time where real partnerships matter more than ever, we want to take responsibility and shape a strong future together with the club and the region,” said Stefan Hegmanns.
“The HEGMANNS Group is deeply rooted in Gelsenkirchen and the surrounding region, which makes them a perfect match for FC Schalke 04 and our values and goals. This partnership is a symbol of the shared vision we pursue: to create the greatest possible value for both sides, strengthen our region, and build connections that go beyond football,” explained Dominik Durben, director of sales and marketing at FC Schalke 04. He continued: “At the same time, I’d like to sincerely thank heatrex® GmbH for the close cooperation over the past year. We’re very pleased to continue our collaboration through a premium partnership, keeping them on board as a valued member of the Schalke partner family.”
