Schalke extend sponsorship deals

In an important signal of close partnerships, FC Schalke 04 have extended the sponsorship contracts with the companies iugis (formerly ORCA) and WOLF. Both sponsors have been working with the club for some years now.

Schalke’s contract with Australian company iugis, previously known as ORCA Enviro Systems up until March, was set to expire in June 2021. Both sides have agreed on an early extension by one year – until 2022. The company from ‘Down Under’ remains FC Schalke 04’s exclusive partner in the Food Waste Management.

When the sponsorship contract was signed three years ago, the agreement included cooperation with the Knappen football academy, something which both sides will strive to uphold. The camps and coaching development programmes will also be continued. The company’s machines, which are used in the VELTINS-Arena to ensure food waste is disposed of sustainably, will remain in use. The company will also obtain its advertising rights, including spaces on the LED boards in the VELTINS-Arena.

Extension with heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology partner

Since 2018, Bavarian company WOLF have been sponsoring FC Schalke 04. The company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of heating and climate control systems and produces air conditioners, solar panels, boilers and thermal pumps. The contract between Schalke and their official heating, ventilation and air-conditioning partner has also been extended until 2022. The company will obtain its advertising rights along with a box in the VELTINS-Arena.
