Veltins to remain loyal partner of FC Schalke 04

The brewery C. and A. Veltins, Meschede-Grevenstein is set to remain the loyal partner of FC Schalke 04 in the coming years, regardless of the sporting outcome of this season. “The club and our firm are closely linked. We have enjoyed a long, shared journey together which has not been affected by the ups and downs along the way,” said Veltins general manager Michael Huber. “We would like to celebrate our 25-year partnership with FC Schalke 04 and the club’s fans next year!”

C. & A. Veltins brewery and FC Schalke 04 have already extended the naming rights contract for the VELTINS Arena until 2027. Brewing rights for the Royal Blues’ home will also remain in the hands of the premium brewers. Veltins and FC Schalke 04 have enjoyed a successful partnership for 24 years, which included the brewers’ acquisition of the naming rights for S04’s stadium in July 2005.

The long-term contract offers Veltins extensive marketing rights as well as the exclusive right to supply beer in the stadium. In continuing the partnership, the Sauerland brewers are reaffirming the pleasing aspects of the long-standing relationship. Michael Huber: “Sponsoring in sports is an impulse business and must constantly adapt to the changing conditions of the current circumstances. Only then can it really be successful.”
