FC Schalke 04 lost at a sold-out Max-Morlock-Stadion on Saturday (10/8) despite a strong first half which saw the Royal Blues go into the break 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Ibrahima Cissé (45’). After a controversial red card for Ron Schallenberg in injury time of the first half, 1. FC Nürnberg turned the game around after the interval thanks to goals from Lukas Schleimer (47’), Caspar Jander (56’) and Rafael Lubach (76’).
