Goals from Antwi-Adjei and Lasme secure 3-1 win over Aarau

FC Schalke 04 defeated partner club FC Aarau 3-1 in a friendly at the Titanic Sports Center in Belek on Monday (6/1). Christopher Antwi-Adjei’s goal gave Schalke a half-time lead, though Yannick Touré equalised for the Swiss side after the break. A brace from Bryan Lasme then got 2025 off to a winning start for the Royal Blues.

Training-camp friendlies: S04 to face FC Aarau and FC Zürich

FC Schalke 04 have arranged two friendlies as part of their week-long training camp in Belek (3rd-10th January). They will first face partner club FC Aarau before a test against FC Zürich towards the end of the time in Türkiye.

FC Schalke 04 drew 2-2 away at FC Aarau in a friendly on Saturday evening. The Swiss second-division side became a partner club of the Royal Blues this year. A total of 7,525 spectators attended the match, which was also head coach Kees van Wonderen’s first in charge of S04, as his side fought their way back to equalise twice.

S04 has gained another international partner: second-tier Swiss side FC Aarau will work closely with the Royal Blues for the foreseeable future. One of the key aims of the agreement is to offer youth prospects match experience at a suitable level and thus aid the development of these talents.
