Peter Remmert: Working towards getting more minutes with the first team

In last Wednesday’s friendly against FC Groningen, Peter Remmert won a penalty after smartly using his body, just as he did in the move that resulted in Pape Meïssa Ba’s winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Preußen Münster a few weeks prior on his professional debut. “It was an incredible feeling,” said the 19-year-old as he reflected on the atmosphere at the VELTINS-Arena, hoping it’s something he gets to experience a lot more in the future.

Kalas back at S04, Remmert sidelined

Schalke 04 got this week of training underway on Monday morning (9.9). Tomas Kalas has returned to Gelsenkirchen to continue his recovery and is working hard to make an imminent return to training.

Young striker Peter Remmert joins FC Schalke 04

S04 have snapped up another talented forward, with Peter Remmert joining the club on a long-term deal until 2028. The 18-year-old most recently turned out for VfL Osnabrück’s U19’s in the A-Junioren Bundesliga Nord/Nordost.
