The Royal Blues ended their final double matchweek of pre-season on Sunday (20/7) with a 3-0 away win over Rot Weiss Ahlen. After the final whistle, both head coaches spoke about the anniversary game at the Wersestadion. Early goals in both halves: Schalke defeat Rot Weiss Ahlen 3-0

On Sunday (20/7), the Royal Blues emerged victorious in their friendly against Oberliga outfit Rot Weiss Ahlen (3-0). The three goals were all scored by different players. Over the course of the game, however, two Schalke players were forced off with injury.

Miron Muslic: Both games are of great importance

FC Schalke 04 will wrap up their fourth week of pre-season with two friendlies in the space of 24 hours this weekend. On Saturday (19/07), the Royal Blues will face Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente at the Parkstadion, before travelling to face Westphalian Oberliga club Rot Weiss Ahlen at the Wersestadion the following day. Both matches will kick off at 14:00 CEST.
