Juan Miranda to return to Spain early

FC Schalke 04 and Juan Miranda have agreed with FC Barcelona that the left back’s loan deal will end early and he has already returned to Spain. He was originally meant to stay in Gelsenkirchen until 30th June 2021.

“We would like to thank Juan for his efforts this season. We wish him all the best for the future,” said Head of Sport Jochen Schneider. “We would also like to thank FC Barcelona for the mutually agreed decision and the positive cooperation with our club.”

Miranda played 11 times in the Bundesliga in 2019/20, also appearing once in the DFB-Pokal.
