Partial MCL rupture for Weston McKennie

The diagnosis of Weston McKennie’s injury has been confirmed. In the game vs. Hannover 96, Weston McKennie partially ruptured the MCL in his right knee. The midfielder’s injury is being dealt with cautiously and consequently he’s expected to miss the Knappen’s next six weeks of action.

In a 50/50 with Hannover’s Felix Klaus, Weston McKennie came off worse from the battle and it was there where the injury struck and the United States international was forced to leave the field.
