Sporting director Rouven Schröder isolating after positive PCR test

A routine rapid test saw sporting director Rouven Schröder test positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday (9/3). The subsequent PCR test has now confirmed the infection. The 46-year-old has been isolating since and has no symptoms.

All the other rapid tests on Wednesday for the players and staff came back negative. FC Schalke 04 still carries out mandatory tests for the first team setup to catch positive cases as early as possible.
