Kenan Karaman on…

…the 3-0 win in Hannover:
I’m just really proud of the team, we put in a great performance. Winning by that margin here is a real statement. We implemented a lot of things really well and got our reward for it. We knew Hannover would look to play out from the back and we were well prepared for that.

…the early goals:
Early goals really help us. We win the ball high up the pitch when our opponents try to build up play from the back, and we’re ruthless in taking those chances. That’s part of our playing identity and at times, you also need a bit of luck.

No matter who’s playing, everyone knows their role and gives everything.

Kenan Karaman

…the team’s progress:
The coach has given us a clear style of play. No matter who’s playing, everyone knows their role and gives everything. We’re growing closer together as a team, but keeping our feet firmly on the ground. We know what kind of a season we had last time out, and our only focus is on continuing to work hard and improve.

…Moussa Sylla:
We’ve always supported him, even when the goals didn’t come. To score twice away from home against a team of that quality and be the match-winner will do him a lot of good.
