FC Schalke 04 will travel back to Gelsenkirchen with a point after playing out a 1-1 draw with Hannover 96 on Sunday (7/4). Assan Ouédraogo’s opener (17’) was cancelled out by the home side’s equaliser late on in the second half.

Despite going 3-1 up, the game was still not over; Hannover got another goal back just before the final whistle through a penalty from Marcel Halstenberg, but the Royal Blues managed to see out the victory.

The Belgian reflected on Saturday’s victory over Hannover 96 at the post-match press conference alongside his opposite number Stefan Leitl. FC Schalke 04 are finally back to winning ways! The Royal Blues defeated Hannover 96 3-2 at home on Saturday afternoon (28/10). Bryan Lasme (42’), Lino Tempelmann (72’) and Kenan Karaman (76’) got the goals against the side that went into the weekend in fourth place.
