Preparations begin for the 2023/24 season

The Royal Blues are back! FC Schalke 04’s first team returned to Gelsenkirchen on Saturday (24/6) as they start preparations for the 2023/24 season. The players completed the standard fitness and medical tests, presented by new partner Knappschaft Kliniken.

Under the watchful eye of coaches, S04 doctors and the performance coaches, the players completed the standard fitness and medical tests at medicos.AufSchalke before the first training session of pre-season. These tests will help to manage the players’ workloads over the coming weeks. Click here for more pictures.

First training session at the Parkstadion

More tests will be carried out on Sunday (25/6) ahead of the first training session before the new season on Monday at 11:00 CEST at the Parkstadion. The players will sign autographs for the fans in attendance afterwards.

The first training session will be free to watch on the club’s YouTube channel, presented by HRS.
