Domenico Tedesco: Emotions ran high

Another thriller involving the Royal Blues. The Knappen came back from 2-0 down to gain a valuable point in Frankfurt with the last kick of the game. Domenico Tedesco reflected on the game as a whole.

We were down 1-0 very early. It’s never easy to keep your composure in those sorts of scenarios but we kept our head up and dominated the first half without creating enough goalscoring opportunities. Harit and Schöpf had chances but that was it.

In the second half, Frankfurt were very sly and caught us cleverly on the break. After going down 2-0, we adopted a more direct approach and it paid off.

From a personal perspective, I’d like to apologise for my actions towards the end of the game. It was a very emotional game and I can learn from my mistakes.
