Marius Bülter scores February Goal of the Month

It all happened in the 40th minute at the VELTINS-Arena, as Rodrigo Zalazar evaded Borna Sosa on the right wing and played a precise ball into the centre of the penalty area. The cross was beautifully dispatched by Bülter, who flicked the ball behind him with his right heel, into the bottom-left corner. This is the 29th occasion that a Schalke player has scored the Goal of the Month. The man who provided the assist for Bülter’s winning goal, Rodrigo Zalazar, won the award himself in May 2022 as he scored a ridiculous goal from the halfway line on the final day of the 2021/22 season against 1. FC Nürnberg.
