Die Königsblauen had 16 shots on goal in their match against Borussia Mönchengladbach yesterday. A good amount, but there was a downside of course. The Royal Blues are still waiting for their first points of the new Bundesliga sesaon. S04 lost 2-1 at Borussia Mönchengladbach on Matchday 3. Matthias Ginter and Patrick Herrmann scored the goals for the foals, with Breel Embolo scoring a consolation in the 93rd minute.

On Wednesday (05.09.18), the DFL timetabled Bundesliga Matchdays 7-14. Schalke's derby against Dortmund will take place on the afternoon of Saturday 8th December at 15.30 (CET) in the VELTINS-Arena. Schalke will also have five other Saturday matchdays and two Sunday matchdays.

Since mid-May the lack of football has meant Schalke fans could spend their Saturday afternoons in pleasant relaxation.
