S04 travel to face FC Augsburg in second round of DFB-Pokal

FC Schalke 04 have been drawn away against FC Augsburg in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. The draw took place on Sunday (1/9) at the German Football Museum. The second round of matches will take place on 29th and 30th October 2024.

DFB-Pokal

The Royal Blues have come up against FCA once before in the DFB-Pokal, back in the 2010/11 season. The two sides met in the round of 16, with Schalke winning 1-0 away thanks to Jefferson Farfan’s winning goal in the 84th minute. That season, the Royal Blues went on to lift the cup for the fifth time.

Mohr with an assist and a goal apiece as S04 win 2-0 in Aalen

FC Schalke 04 booked their place in the second round of the DFB-Pokal on Saturday (17/8) with a 2-0 win away at VfR Aalen in front of 10,805 fans at the CENTUS ARENA. Kenan Karaman (31’) and Tobias Mohr (68’) scored S04’s goals.
