DFB-Pokal draw to be made on Sunday

Schalke 04 are now into the last 16 of the DFB-Pokal after defeating 1. FC Köln on penalties. The draw will be made on Sunday (4/11) at 18:00 CET by blind footballer Serdal Celebi.

The last 16 draws will take place on February 5th and 6th. As there are only Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga sides left in the competition, the team drawn first with host the fixture.

The quarter-final games will take place on April 2nd and 3rd, while the semi-finals are schedueled for April 23rd and 24th. The final will be in Berlin on May 25th.

The last 16 teams:

Bundesliga: FC Schalke 04, VfL Wolfsburg, Hertha BSC, Bayern München, FC Augsburg, Fortuna Düsseldorf, 1. FC Nürnberg, Werder Bremen, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen.

2. Bundesliga: SC Paderborn, Hamburger SV, 1. FC Heidenheim, Holstein Kiel, MSV Duisburg.

The only goal of the game was scored in the fifth minute by Stefan Lex in front of 15,000 fans at the sold out Stadion an der Grünwalder Straße. S04 played most of the second half with ten men, with Malick Thiaw sent off for a professional foul in the 48th minute.
