Draw for the next round of the DFB-Pokal on Sunday

Following yesterday’s 4-1 victory against 1. FC Schweinfurt 05, FC Schalke 04 have qualified for the second round of the DFB-Pokal as the 32nd and final team to progress past the first round. The Royal Blues’ opponent for the next round, which will take place on the 22nd or 23rd of December, will be decided on air this Sunday (08.11).

Two teams from the 3. Liga remain in the cup along with three Regionalliga sides, who will all host the second-round ties.

The following teams have qualified for the second round of the DFB-Pokal:

Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen, VfL Wolfsburg, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, SC Freiburg, 1. FC Köln, Union Berlin, 1. FSV Mainz 05, VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Augsburg, Werder Bremen, Bayern München, FC Schalke 04.

Bundesliga 2: Eintracht Braunschweig, VfL Osnabrück, VfL Bochum, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Holstein Kiel, SV Sandhausen, Jahn Regensburg, SC Paderborn 07, SV Darmstadt 98, Hannover 96.

3. Liga: Dynamo Dresden, SV Wehen Wiesbaden.

Regionalliga: SSV Ulm, SV Elversberg, Rot-Weiss Essen.
