S04 drawn away at Dynamo Dresden in second round of the DFB-Pokal

FC Schalke 04 will come up against Dynamo Dresden in the second round of the DFB-Pokal. The second-division side won 6-0 at Westfalia Rhynern to reach the next round.

The draw took place on Saturday (5/9) at the German Football Museum. Former Germany international and 2014 World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger was responsible for drawing the second-round ties.

The 16 second-round games will take place across 27th and 28th October, with the exact dates and timings to be confirmed within the next weeks.

FC Schalke 04 booked their place in the second round of the DFB-Pokal with a 5-2 win over Hallescher FC on Monday evening (24/8). The hosts equalised in the 90th minute to force the game into overtime, where the Royal Blues scored three times to progress.
