Mercan celebrates his dream debut

A professional debut couldn’t have gone any better. After being subbed on, it didn’t take Münir Levent Mercan long to score his first professional goal. The midfielder curled home the fourth goal into the top-right hand corner from 18 yards out. The 18-year-old had already stood out during pre-season, having spent the majority of it with the first team. David Wagner confirmed that the U23s player will continue to train with the first team in the coming weeks.
