S04 to face Bielefeld at 20:45 on a Tuesday in the DFB-Pokal

The DFB published the schedule for the second round of the DFB-Pokal on Friday (23/8). FC Schalke 04 will face Arminia Bielefeld on Tuesday, 29th October. The game in the SchücoArena will kick off at 20:45 CEST.

DFB-Pokal

Arminia qualified for the second round of the DFB-Pokal after defeating Viktoria Berlin 1-0 in round one. Schalke enjoyed a convincing 5-0 win over SV Drochtersen/Assel in their first Pokal outing of the campaign.

FC Schalke 04 failed to reach the round of 16 in this season’s DFB-Pokal after losing 1-0 away to TSV 1860 München on Tuesday night (26/10). The only goal of the game was scored in the fifth minute by Stefan Lex in front of 15,000 fans at the sold out Stadion an der Grünwalder Straße. S04 played most of the second half with ten men, with Malick Thiaw sent off for a professional foul in the 48th minute.
