S04 to open DFB-Pokal campaign away at FC 08 Villingen on a Sunday

The German Football Association (DFB) announced the dates and kick-off times for all 32 first-round DFB-Pokal fixtures on Monday (12/7). FC Schalke 04 will begin their cup campaign away against FC 08 Villingen on Sunday, 8th August at 15:30 CEST.

The two sides have met once before, in the first round of the DFB-Pokal in 2016/17. The Royal Blues won 4-1 thanks to goals from Dennis Aogo, Breel Embolo, Johannes Geis and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
