S04 to play friendly against FC Groningen

The Royal Blues have arranged a friendly for the upcoming international break. Kees van Wonderen’s side will play FC Groningen on Wednesday, 19th March. Kick-off at the Parkstadion will be at 18:00 CET.

Tickets are available now for €12 (concessions €7) on https://tickets.schalke04.de/en, with the price the same for seats and standing. Usage of the local VRR public transportation network is not included in the ticket price.

FC Groningen are currently 10th in the Eredivisie. The 2015 KNVB Beker winners have picked up 28 points in 24 games so far this season.

Christopher Antwi-Adjei’s goal gave Schalke a half-time lead, though Yannick Touré equalised for the Swiss side after the break. A brace from Bryan Lasme then got 2025 off to a winning start for the Royal Blues.
