Gosens makes debut as Schalke come from behind to beat Fagiano Okayama 3-1

Schalke rounded off their training camp with a 3-1 win over Japanese top-flight side Fagiano Okayama on Saturday (25/7). The Royal Blues fell behind to Léo Gaúcho’s opener (13’), but goals from Hasan Kuruçay (19’), Kenan Karaman (28’) and Junior Adamu (75’) turned the game around at the Silberstadt Arena in Schwaz.

Miron Muslic: We want to take the next step

Head coach Miron Muslic has a clear plan for the meeting with the Ukrainian top-flight side. “We’re now into the third week of pre-season and are managing the players’ workloads carefully. At the same time, though, we also want to step things up another level,” said the 43-year-old.
