S04 to face FC Twente in a friendly in Marl

FC Schalke 04 will play FC Twente in a friendly a week and a half before the new season starts. The game against the club’s friends from the Netherlands will take place on Wednesday, 24th July at the EVONIK Sportpark in Marl, which holds around 3,000 spectators. Kick off will be at 18:30 CEST.

The VELTINS-Arena isn’t available as a venue for this game as the stadium will be getting set up for the concerts during this period.

Tickets for the game against the side from Enschede, who finished third in the Eredivisie this season and will take part in the Champions League qualifiers in 2024/25, will be available online and at the Service Center from 10:04 CEST on Wednesday (12/6).

Seats costs 27€ and a terrace ticket is priced at 12€. Kids up until the age of 12 can stand for 7€. Only paper tickets are available as the EVONIK Sportpark in Marl doesn’t have any electronic turnstiles. Tickets will be sent by post and this will cost 3€.

4-1 friendly win against Verl on Soppy's S04 debut

S04 emerged 4-1 victors against the third-tier side, and fielded none of the players who started the 1-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig. Ten academy players were given game time in the fixture.
