Two friendlies confirmed for summer pre-season

The Royal Blue's pre-season plans are starting to take shape, with two friendlies already confirmed ahead of the 2025/26 season.

FC Schalke 04 will play their first pre-season friendly in Nordhorn, Lower Saxony. Their opponent will be the ‘Best of Grafschaft’ team, made up of several players from various different clubs from the Grafschaft Bentheim area. Kick-off will be at 16:00 CEST at the Sportpark Blanke am Heideweg.

A week later, the Royal Blues will take on 1. FC Bocholt. The match will take place at the Stadion am Hünting on Saturday, 5th July (17:00 CEST). Schalke had previously faced the Regionalliga side in a pre-season friendly in July 2023, with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.

FC Schalke 04 will also share further information on the date and location of the club’s pre-season training camp in due course.

FC Schalke 04 won their second friendly of their winter training camp on Thursday afternoon (9/1). The Royal Blues beat Swiss first-division side FC Zürich 3-0 at the Titanic Sports Center in Belek thanks to goals from Moussa Sylla, Marcin Kaminski and Emil Højlund (penalty).

Goals from Antwi-Adjei and Lasme secure 3-1 win over Aarau

FC Schalke 04 defeated partner club FC Aarau 3-1 in a friendly at the Titanic Sports Center in Belek on Monday (6/1). Christopher Antwi-Adjei’s goal gave Schalke a half-time lead, though Yannick Touré equalised for the Swiss side after the break. A brace from Bryan Lasme then got 2025 off to a winning start for the Royal Blues.

FC Schalke 04 defeated Alemannia Aachen 2-1 in a friendly on Thursday (14/11) at the Parkstadion. Lino Tempelmann (29’) and Zaid Amoussou-Tchibara (88’) scored for the Royal Blues against the third-division side.
