S04 face Greek first-division side Aris FC

At the end of the training camp in Längenfeld on Friday (28/8), FC Schalke 04 will face Aris FC in a friendly. The match against the Greek first-division side will take place at the Kematen Stadium at 13:00 CEST.

Aris FC ended the 2019/20 season in fifth place in the Greek Super League and thus secured a place in the second round of qualification for the Europa League. The head coach of the club from the second largest city in Greece is Michael Oenning; a face many will recognise from the Bundesliga. The coach has previously worked for clubs including Borussia Mönchengladbach, VfL Bochum, 1. FC Nürnberg and Hamburger SV in various roles.

Due to the current hygiene protocols, 736 fans will be able to attend the match.
