Todibo debuts in a 2-0 friendly win over Preußen Münster

Schalke played a friendly behind closed doors on Saturday morning, defeating third-division side Preußen Münster 2-0. New signing Jean-Clair Todibo made his first appearance for the Royal Blues, playing 75 minutes.

Head coach David Wagner gave valuable minutes to players who weren’t in action or only came off the bench last night against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Several Knappenschmiede academy players were also involved.

Guido Burgstaller scored the opening goal in the 51th minute after the visitors failed to properly clear a Juan Miranda cross. Timo Becker, the U23s defender who made his Bundesliga debut against Union in November, scored the second goal from a corner after 54 minutes.
