S04 to play SSV Ulm 1846 on 8th September
FC Schalke 04 will play SSV Ulm 1846 during the first international break of the season in a friendly. The game will take place on Friday, 8th September at 18:30 CEST at the Donaustadion.
This fixture is a repeat of the second-round clash in the DFB-Pokal in 2020/21. As always in the cup, the lower-league side were allowed to play at home, but this wasn’t possible during the pandemic and so the match was held at the VELTINS-Arena. S04 ran out 3-1 winners just before Christmas.
The two clubs agreed back then that S04 will then play a friendly in Ulm and have now found a suitable date for both.
