S04 to face VfL Wolfsburg – friendly live on YouTube

FC Schalke 04 have agreed to play a friendly against a Bundesliga side during the training camp in Portugal. Karel Geraerts’ side will play VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday (6/1) at 16:30 CET at the Estádio Algarve in Faro and Loulé (the border between the two cities runs through the middle of the pitch).

The game will be available to watch for free on the club’s YouTube channel.

Another friendly planned

The club hope to play another game on Tuesday (9/1) in the Algarve. Information on the opponent, venue and kick-off time will follow in due course.

S04 would obviously like to provide the details of that game, as well as this one with VfL Wolfsburg, further in advance. However, due to the late decision to hold the training camp in Albufeira, the local authorities have the final say on signing contracts for friendlies and that can lead to the process taking a bit longer than usual.

S04 to play friendlies in Eindhoven and against Maasmechelen

FC Schalke 04 will use the international break to play two friendlies. On Wednesday (15th November), the Royal Blues travel to face Dutch top-tier side PSV Eindhoven at 14:00 CET. The next day (16th November), they will meet Patro Eisden Maasmechelen of the Belgian second division.
