More fans permitted to attend Bundesliga matches

Good news for all S04 fans: Germany’s heads of state have agreed on a common spectator limit for Bundesliga games. Until the end of October, clubs will be permitted to open stadiums at 20 percent of the total seated capacity.

A fundamental requirement is the presence of a hygiene concept, while clubs will also be required to monitor the number of regional infections. The ability to make any final decisions will continue to rest with the local health authorities.

We’re very happy for our fans, who have been waiting to return to the stadium for months.

“We’re very grateful for the trust the government has placed in us with this decision, and will act responsibly. We’re also very happy for our fans, who have been waiting to return to the stadium for months,” said Alexander Jobst, head of marketing, sales and organisation at S04. “It’s another step back to normality. We are prepared to welcome back a percentage of fans and are in contact with the local authorities in order to ensure the maximum security for all those involved.”

The club will share more information, including the procedures surrounding ticket allocation, over the coming days.
